The future of agriculture communications...

Agriculture is huge in California. Although land is slowly becoming developed, agriculture will always be predominant in California. I believe that agriculture communications is more important than every in today's society. Agriculture must be communicated efficitvely in a way that appeals to people of all demographics, ages, economic backgrounds and race. If we are wise and clever in our communicating tatics, we can find new ways to reach out to people and spread the news of both conventional and non-conventional forms of agriculture!

The blogging begins...

My first blog! I am new to the whole blogging realm, but very excited at the same time! I have been introduced to the concept of blogging for a while now, but have never experimented it personally. It seems very exciting, where the possibilities are endless! I remember keeping up with my friend's trip through Europe last summer through her blogs. I remember thinking how awesome it was that she would always have an electronic journal of her entire trip, but thought for sure it was much too complicated for me blog. How would I get started? What would I blog about? Thank goodness for JOUR 205 and Mr. Gearhart! Learning more about blogging in class has really opened my mind to how great blogging is! It seems like a great networking tool for individuals of any ages; for fun, personally or even for business. To the world of blogging...here I come!
